Installation Tips:

Always seal the stone before it is to come in contact with any type of staining substances.

The following thicknesses are guidelines for common applications. Please refer to your architect or contractor for what is best for your particular application.

  • Vanities and countertops we prefer to use 1" – 2”.
  • Backsplashes 3/4" is recommended.
  • Interior flooring on a concrete base can be as thin as ½” or as thick as 1”.
  • Exterior flooring is usually around 1” and is installed on a concrete bed, 1 1⁄2” if installed on a stone base and 2” for commercial applications.
